Summary: The article deals with the appearance of a very curious phenomenon of Lenin as a hero of Russian folk tales in the first years after the 1917 revolution. In the view of the author are especially subjects related to immortality or resurrection of the ruler. The author finds that the phenomenon is likely to have more to do with the popular myth, the popular belief, rather than the fairy tale as an established folk and literary form. It is emphasized that even with some folk foundations of "tales of Lenin" bear the imprint of the imported explicitly literary and obvious ideological actual inclusions.
